FIRST LOOK at Disney’s Castaway Cay new character outfits!
Disney Cruise News March 2024:
Disney Cruise Line has debuted BRAND NEW outfits for Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald and Daisy Duck, Pluto and Goofy on Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas! We were lucky enough to be on the first cruise where their colorful new outfits debuted. We had no idea in advance and it was a total surprise to us! The bright new outfits really made a splash with guests, with happy faces everywhere!
My Disney Cruise vlog 2024 series has already started over on YouTube, so go ahead and start enjoying the vlogs, and stay tuned as I’ll be releasing each day to share all the fun and surprises. We will also share our tips and traditions for Disney Cruising throughout the new cruise vlog series! The videos will showcase the outfits in motion, and give detailed looks at each characte – plus my awkward self trying to interact with them lol! In addition to the photos shown here, we also captured Daisy, Goofy and Pluto in video footage.Those will appear in the Castaway Cay vlog once that is released (later this week).

New Character Outfit Design Details:
Disney has said that the new outfits showcase the iconic colors of Disney Cruise Line. Also, Disney shared that the details on Mickey’s shirt and hat are meant to pay tribute to his first appearance as Steamboat Willie. Minnie’s rainbow dress is bright and vibrant, reflecting her bright, sunny personality! The colors and designs fit with Disney Cruise Line and a day in the Bahamas. They’re more memorable too!
The bright, colorful looks are truly iconic, we loved them! We really enjoyed meeting and taking photos with Mickey and pals in different spots on the walkway into the island. Spending time with your favorite Disney character in special outfits really adds some special magic to a Disney Cruise!
