Universal Mardi Gras 2024 Concerts, Food & Parade & Theme Announced!
Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval kicks off on February 3 and runs through April 7, 2024, and today they have announced the concert lineup, parade theme and more details to get excited for! Let’s go over what was announced today!

Universal Mardi Gras 2024 Parade Theme Announced:
Each year, Universal’s Mardi Gras parade has a different theme. We’ve seen space aliens, fairytales, and more, and for 2024, the theme will the THE ELEMENTS! I love this idea – earth, wind, fire, water and the sun and moon will be featured as new floats, and of course the classic favorites like the Gator float, will also remain part of the parade. The Universal Mardi Gras parade takes place every night during the event, and is included with your park ticket! Guests also have the opportunity to ride a parade and throw beads. Passholders had a signup link sent this morning, so check your email passholders, and guests can either try their luck at standby waits (sometimes there is a virtual queue in the app), or do a Ride and Dine package, that come with dinner and a float ride!
This year’s Mardi Gras parade theme will bring the elements to life in six new, beautifully designed parade floats inspired by Earth, wind, fire, water, the sun and the moon. The new collection of element floats will join Universal’s traditional lineup of New Orleans-inspired floats to create this year’s parade – complete with high-energy music, dozens of performers donning elaborate costumes and tons of beads.
