Welcome! I’m Jackie, Super Enthused. I live in Orlando, Florida, and I love all things fun and themed. On my YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/superenthused, I make videos sharing travel adventures, unique attractions, theme park updates, road trips, cruises, detailed resort and dining tours, and lots more. I also share tips, fun facts and interesting info about the places we visit. My goal is to bring you along with me as we explore, enjoy and learn, visiting the most fun and interesting places. I want you to feel like you’re right there with me, enjoying the places we go and things we see, taking in all the moments, from the exciting to relaxing, funny to awe inspiring, and everything in between!

Background

I’m an enthusiast, with a super love for all things whimsical, themed and unique, and for sharing those things with a like-minded community of enthusiasts. We’re here to make the most of and enjoy the world as much as we can!

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, I grew up making the four-hour drive to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Florida on weekends and quick summer trips. Like many of you, I also grew up watching Disney movies, singing Disney songs. I developed a strong interest in classic animation, music, Imagineering and history – and that has led to a lifelong passion for the theme park industry worldwide, and travels all over the USA and internationally!

Another pastime that turned into a passion, was taking road trips, traveling and visiting new places. From as early as I could, I loved to hop in the car and drive to new cities, states and beyond. I love to share the experience of being on the ground, seeing places as you could never see them from an airplane. Road trips, unique and whimsical roadside attractions, historic sites, all of it. I’ve traveled all over the USA, and to several other countries, and it’s only the beginning because there is so much to see and do – and share with you! Of course, some travels require a plane, a ship, or other means, and I love it all if it means doing fun and interesting things – from tropical getaways, to deserts, mountains, bustling cities, quiet countryside, we’ll do it all… together.

Finding a community to share this enthusiasm with has been the most surprising aspect of this journey. Fellow enthusiasts, cool people with a sense of humor to share the adventures with.

Besides travel and theme parks, I also love reading, movies, sci-fi, fantasy, nature walks, the ocean, space and rocket launches, and learning new things. My background is in education and music, I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, and have a background in music performance. I still love to sing and jam out, and to learn and share the things I learn. Bringing smiles to you brings me great joy.

I think all of these things have naturally lent themselves to my little DIY travel and theme park show that is Super Enthused.

Travel Adventures

Over the years, we have traveled to theme parks, amusement parks, unique attractions, resorts and eateries all over the USA, UK and into Europe (so far, but more to come!). But we go beyond just theme parks and tourist attractions to explore cities, historic monuments, conventions, festivals, traveling exhibits, and more – sharing deep dives and tours of really special places. Places like historic destinations, roadside attractions and uniquely themed resorts and restaurants – the ones that provide a fun, highly themed stay or dining experience. I also love to share hidden gems and beautiful, hidden details.

A bit more about my “why” – Why I do this…

It brings me joy to do a wide variety of things, to see and explore the spaces that humans and nature have created, and that’s reflected in the videos. I see my YouTube channel as my little DIY travel show. DIY in the fact that I do it all myself, from filming, editing, planning, research and everything else.

In each episode, I share my experiences visiting these places, and bring you along to experience them with me, while also sharing tips, interesting bits of information, and the “feel,” vibe and general atmosphere of the places we visit.

I started Super Enthused writing travel blogs, and a few years later in 2017, I started the YouTube channel. It all started as a creative project to share the things I love. It’s been a passion project since the beginning, and still is. I just really love creating, sharing information about all the varied things I love and encouraging others to get out there and try new things. I love creating edited videos – my little travel show episodes – to share with fellow enthusiasts. In a way, you can travel with us to visit these places, and also plan your own trips there if you want to!
