The holiday season is upon us in the world of theme parks, and in this blog I am going to share all the info you need to know about the Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort, including Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe, CityWalk and the resort hotels! The most important thing to note here is that most of the holiday offerings are INCLUDED WITH YOUR PARK TICKET!!! The Holiday Parade, Grinchmas, the special shows, characters, decorations, there is no separate ticket required, it’s all included! Of course, food, drinks and merchandise are separate cost, but most of the incredibly entertainment and stuff is included!
The holiday season at Universal runs from Nov. 21, 2025—Jan. 4, 2026
Epic Universe
Let’s start with the newest addition to the Universal Orlando theme park lineup, Epic Universe! This will be Epic’s first ever holiday season, and we’ve gotten word that Celestial Park and the Ministry of Magic will be decorated for the season! We’re still waiting for any more details of what is to come here, but you can count on me that I’ll be there to show you what’s new and all the festive merriment coming to the brand new theme park in Orlando!

Universal Studios
Universal Studios is the heart of the Holidays at Universal Celebration, with the Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s happening DAILY at 5:30pm, including Santa Claus, and lots of your favorite Universal characters, plus the awesome balloons!
More offerings include The Holiday Tribute Store, Earl the Squirrel meet and greet, specialty holiday themed food, drinks and merchandise, specialty holiday shows in Diagon Alley, and beautiful decorations all over the park!

Islands of Adventure
Now Islands of Adventure gets the big show that you don’t want to miss, Grinchmas! This show, like the majority of the holiday offerings, is included in your park admission for no extra cost, and is really fantastic, hilarious and heart warming! It’s a full production of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, with a Universal twist of course!
You can also meet the Grinch, but be warned, the lines can get LONG, he’s an incredibly popular character, so plan accordingly! One way to meet the Grinch without the line, is to do the Grinch & Friends Character breakfast, which you can book by calling Universal. It sells out fast though so book asap if you want to do it!
Hogsmeade will be decorated and will also feature The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle projection show, you’ll want to check the app for showtimes for this and for Grinchmas! There are usually multiple shows a day.

CityWalk
CityWalk gets into the spirit too! The return of the Green & Red Coconut Club, a special holiday overlay on the Coconut Club on the second floor of CityWalk! In past years, they’ve done different themes with specialty drinks, shows, music, and more, it’s not to be missed!

New Year’s Eve: Ring in the new year at Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk with DJs, live entertainment and a midnight countdown.
Resort Hotels
Universal’s hotels feature beautiful holiday displays, with Christmas trees and decorations, and some offer specialty drinks and treats. More info on this soon!
All eight of Universal’s hotels will hold a special menorah lighting ceremony each night at sundown to Celebrate Hanukkah, and the Holiday Tribute Store will have Dreidel and Menorah ornaments.

There will definitely be more coming for the Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort, and I’ll be there to cover them all and keep you updated!
