Universal Orlando Resort announced today they are launching a National Epic Universe Portal Tour, in advance of the new Universal Epic Universe theme park grand opening on May 22, 2025! Here’s what we know so far:
Get Ready to Step Through the Portal: Universal’s Epic Universe Portal Tour is Coming to Four U.S. Cities!
Universal Orlando Resort is bringing the magic of its upcoming fourth theme park, Universal Epic Universe, directly to fans with the National Epic Universe Portal Tour! Before the park’s grand opening, you can experience a taste of the adventure in select cities this spring.
The centerpiece of this tour will be a massive, 30-foot tall replica of the Chronos, Epic Universe’s iconic entryway portal! At night, the Chronos will transform into an amazing spectacular light and music show!
Guests will get a glimpse into the five immersive worlds awaiting guests: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe, with photo ops and exclusive experiences.
Attendees can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip to Universal Orlando Resort and experience Epic Universe firsthand.
Universal National Epic Universe Portal Tour Schedule:
April 11-13: Atlanta, Georgia (Pemberton Place, adjacent to World of Coca-Cola)
April 23-26: New York, New York (Rockefeller Center)
May 16-18: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (The Rocky Steps)
June 13-18: Chicago, Illinois (Pioneer Court)
Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (subject to change).
The Chronos is the main portal when you enter Epic Universe park, and it has representations of each of the 5 worlds, which will each have their own portal. It’s such a unique way to theme a park, and it’s so impressive they are creating 4 of these as 30-foot tall replicas to visit Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, and Chicago! What an incredible promo for a brand new theme park opening here in Orlando, FL this May! This will be one to remember and I hope that any of you who are near these cities are able to enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience!
