Disney has announced a new nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, is coming to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World this summer 2025! Here’s what we know so far:
BRAND NEW – TODAY, Disney released a brand new poster for Disney Starlight, let’s take a look at it. One thing I love about this poster is that it feels very magical, whimsical, storybook, fairytale – all the things I love most about Disney, and in that way it feels more classic Disney.
Characters we can see featured include the Blue Fairy from Pinnochio, Peter Pan and Wendy, Moana, Miguel and Pepita from Coco, Cinderella and Prince Charming dancing, and Elsa from Frozen. All the characters are connected by a stroke of magic, dripping sparkles, that seems to start at the tip of the Blue Fairy’s wand, and each are shown in a scene that is an artistic depiction of what we can expect their floats to look like in the new nighttime parade. The entire poster is set before a deep blue night sky filled with stars! It’s a stunning piece of art that mixes old and new in a classy, timeless way! This is the direction I’d love to see all new Disney projects going in, and is a perfect fit specifically for Magic Kingdom!

Disney also released some dazzling concept art for the new Coco float, featuring Miguel in his iconic disguise, strumming the famous white guitar, while Pepita the alebrije towers over him with outstretched wings! Disney says this float will come “complete with sugar skull fireworks” – does that mean the float will have individual pyrotechnics? It appears so in the concept art!

We also have concept art for the Encanto float, featuring Mirabel, Bruno and Isabella:

The sea-faring Moana float, where Disney says, “if you look closely, you’ll notice Pua, HeiHei, and even a manta ray representing Gramma Tala joining her journey.”

The Mary Blair inspired princess float, featuring Aurora and Prince Phillip, Tiana and Prince Naveen, Belle and the Beast, and Cinderella and Prince Charming. Disney has also said that royal dancers will booked the float as a nod to the Main Street Electrical Parade! And check out the fountain in the middle! I just love details like that.

And of course, the original piece of concept art, featuring the Blue Fairy and Peter Pan and Wendy:

This is going to be an exciting summer with a lot happening all over the Orlando theme parks, this is one more thing to be hyped about!! A new parade under the night sky, with Main Street USA all lit up once again!!
OF COURSE I hope to be there right when the new Disney Starlight Parade debuts this summer, to make a video and share my thoughts, feelings, and the full experience with you, always keeping it real and bringing you with me to enjoy it, so make sure you’re subscribed on YouTube so you don’t miss it – you’ll get the real deal here: www.YouTube.com/superenthused
Magic Kingdom hasn’t had a nighttime parade since the Main Street Electrical Parade which ended in 2016. This is a welcome addition to the crown jewel and original park of Walt Disney World in Florida, the one that feature Cinderella Castle and all the most fairytale elements of WDW. This also hopefully means that we can expect later hours for summer nights, where you can get some of the most memorable and magical moments!
