Well friends, the holiday season is in full swing here as we move swiftly into the second week of December, so I wanted to share a little holiday season blog! We are just wrapping up a little road trip to one of our favorite places to visit, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where we visited Dollywood for their Smoky Mountain Christmas festivities, and experienced the first snowfall of the season and had lots of fun at The Island and around Pigeon Forge. We enjoy visiting the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg/east Tennessee area a few times a year, and we try at least once per season, but this was our first Christmas time, holiday season! It was COLD, but fun.
I’ve also been sharing fun and festive things going on here at home in Orlando, Florida, like the Christmas parties at Disney World and Universal Orlando, and visiting the beautiful theme park resorts for their Christmas and gingerbread displays. Some of the things I’ve been highlighting are totally FREE and festive things to do at the theme parks during this season (and I do this year round), where you don’t need a park ticket or to spend a dime! It’s a cozy time of year, and I love to bring those vibes to you through my vlogs. Each season is different – we usually do a lot of active road tripping and traveling in the spring and summer, and there’s always a lot going on in the fall, and in the winter, you just never know – we do sometimes have big trips, but we also like to enjoy the season at home in Florida, the best place to be when it’s cold! Sometimes it’s a time to take things slower, chiller, and soak in the season, when it gets dark earlier, so we cozy up by the soft light of the Christmas tree, enjoy the decorations in our home, and spend time with family.
Speaking of family, we have visits with family in Miami and England during the holiday season. So, I’ll be sharing some vlogs of some of those things, but sometimes it’s just time for us to spend with loved ones. So stay tuned and I will continue to bring you cozy, festive and fun vlogs throughout the holiday season, sharing our experiences and fun things to do! One thing I’ve always done and will always do, is stay true to myself, and true to you! We are real people sharing real experiences, and doing this means so much to me.
