Universal Orlando has announced all of the exciting new scare zones that will be featured at Halloween Horror Nights 2025, also known as HHN 34 and it’s the 34th year of this premier Halloween event running at Universal Studios Florida!
HHN 2025 THEME: This year, the general theme of the event is The Conservatory, full of stained glass, vines, crows, gargoyles, and dark gothic themed… and I must say, I LOVE THAT!!!!! Every single scare zone sounds fantastic to me, very classic Halloween, spooky and fun. These are all totally original concepts by Universal’s creative team! So let’s get into it….
DETAILS: For 2025, we have 4 scare zones, plus 2 surprise street experience announcements, in addition to houses, shows and food!

The Origins of Horror
Enter a decaying conservatory of twisted vines where artists carve tributes to Halloween Horror Nights 34. You’ll encounter monstrous crows, gargoyles and more.
Masquerade: Dance with Death
You’re invited to a masquerade ball where bloodthirsty vampires lurk behind ornate disguises. When their masks fall, you’ll become their prey. [as as I said in this video, I am so hoped to be a guest at this ball, but I ain’t pray, cuz I slay ;)]
The Cat Lady of Crooked Lane
Travel down a spooky winding path to a mysterious home, where trick-or-treaters are transformed into feral felines. Be careful or you’ll be next.
Mutations: Toxic Twenties
In a 1920s neighborhood, a BuzzCon truck with radioactive cargo crashes into a mobster getaway car sending the city into toxic pandemonium. (see it coming to life: https://youtu.be/szciZIcqI3g)

ALL NEW Street Experiences: Mel’s Die In Zombies & Club Horror
Brave all-new street experiences that take the horror to new heights — featuring zombie carhops, undead DJs and more. Details coming soon.
This all sounds so good, the hype is high for HHN this year! I am a huge fan of the original stories that Universal comes up with for houses and scare zones, and these all sound fantastic!
