Spirit Halloween stores pop up in empty and abandoned retail spaces each August, signaling the beginning of the spooky season! But not all stores open at the same time, some stores have opened and some are coming soon.

You can find out if your local Spirit Halloween 2024 store is open by visiting their store locator: https://stores.spirithalloween.com
Once you’ve located your local store(s), you should see opening dates and other information there. Using google maps (or your preferred app program), you can then look to see which empty retail shop has been invaded by the Spirit of Halloween! Look for the bigger locations for more animatronics and walk through displays.
There are so many things that make Spirit Halloween special! They not only carry Halloween props, indoor and outdoor decor, costumes and accessories, but an incredibly volume of these things! From multiple types of fake blood to wigs of every style and color to masks, fog machines and more!

Here are Five Things That Make Spirit Halloween Special & Unique:
- Unique retail model: Pop-up in abandoned and empty storefronts each fall, usually August-November 1. Their website is year-round though.
- Themes: Each year, the stores have a different theme with sets, designs, characters and stories!
- Play: Most Spirit Halloween stores are staffed by really cool people who are also Halloween lovers! The store is filled with “try me” or “step here” buttons to play with the animatronics, toys and decor. There are usually dressing rooms where you can try on costumes and have fun. There is a sense of play that no other Halloween shop can match!
- Community: There is such a fun community “spirit” around Spirit! Us fans can connect and share our love for this unique company and its model online and even in person at the stores!
- Spirit of Children: The Spirit of Children charity that supports local Children’s Hospitals, providing support to kids and their families in a variety of ways. You can donate in store and get your name on the wall for a fun little perk. But no perks needed when you’re helping a great cause!
